At Wild Slough, LLC, we specialize in producing and training selectively bred British Labradors for hunting families. We are passionate about our dogs, continuing to build upon proven bloodlines out of the United Kingdom and Ireland via the British Lab puppies we sell, obedience training for Labradors, and gun dog hunting training we offer.
After purchasing our first British Labrador Retriever, it was apparent that the intelligence, calm temperament, and natural hunting ability were the very qualities we had been searching for in a hunting and family companion. Since that time, our goal as British Lab breeders is to continue to produce these outstanding hunting labs for all families to enjoy.

The Wild Slough Advantage
Wild Slough, LLC, is a family-owned and operated business. Our dogs are housed in state of the art kennel facilities only steps away from our front door, allowing us access to our adult British Labs and Lab pups 24 hours a day, seven days a week. In this small, intimate setting, we get to know each of our dogs, understanding the distinct traits each will pass on to British Lab puppies.
We breed our female labs once a year at the most, allowing for their optimal health and well-being as well as that of our pups. UK Lab puppies are for sale at various times throughout the year and can be picked up at our Minnesota location or shipped nationwide. Customized Lab Training for Hunting and Obedience
In addition to being British Lab breeders, we also commit a large portion of our business to customized Labrador training. British Labs are sensitive dogs. We believe it takes a soft, gentle hand, teaching each dog at its own pace, to achieve the desired outcome in both obedience training for Labradors and gun dog hunting training.
Our various lab training programs can be adapted to fit your needs. In many cases, our puppies go home with you at eight weeks old and come back to us for training once they have reached six months of age. We also train Labrador Retriever puppies purchased from other reputable breeding facilities.
In our started dog program, we keep your carefully selected puppy, training it until it is approximately eight to ten months old. Dogs in this program will arrive home obedience trained and ready to hunt. Started dogs are generally booked at least one year in advance.
